WattLock is intentionally small. Its strength is the exact settlement statement it can prove and the broader claims it refuses to make.
What does WattLock do?
WattLock gates a fixed CC3 compute-job escrow with proof that an exact energy-certificate allocation was terminally reserved on Sepolia. It binds the certificate, job, buyer, provider, reward, energy amount, deadline, destination chain, and deployed settlement contract.
Why is Attestcoin essential?
Attestcoin proves the Sepolia reservation receipt inside the CC3 settlement transaction. Without that proof, WattLock has no trust-minimized source evidence to validate and cannot release the escrow.
What happens when a certificate is reused?
A separately funded Job B attempted to reserve the already-used certificate with its exact allocation commitment; the source issuer returned CertificateAlreadyReserved(). The destination also tracks consumed certificates and Attestcoin query IDs so the escrow cannot settle again.
Does WattLock prove renewable generation or green compute?
No. DemoCertificateIssuer is a testnet model of an external issuer. WattLock does not verify generation, production REC registry records, hourly or geographic matching, physical compute execution, or hardware telemetry.
Why is the play demo a replay instead of a wallet transaction?
The displayed sequence is tied to real testnet receipts, but it avoids changing shared testnet state or waiting for source-block attestation during a judge visit. The proof page links every real transaction and contract directly.
Is this a marketplace or a token?
No. Version one is terminal and indivisible: one certificate, one allocation commitment, one job, and one settlement. There is no token, cancellation, transfer, marketplace, lending layer, or fractional allocation path.
What network path is supported?
Only Ethereum Sepolia through Attestcoin source chain key 1 to Creditcoin CC3 Testnet. This narrow path is deliberate so the proof and refusal can be inspected end to end.
